KINETIX R104 is a rapid, room-temperature cure epoxy for surfboard lamination. The system cures to a clear, bloom-free finish that has excellent adhesion to polyester or polyurethane topcoats. If offers superior toughness, with a resistance to yellowing, and provides extended longevity with normal use.

KINETIX R246TX is a thixotropic system that cures at room temperature, or low elevated temperature, and is suitable for fibre composite boat construction. The thixotropic nature of R246TX reduces vertical drainage when high resin contents are employed in heavy laminates. R246TX offers extended working times and cured mechanical properties are excellent.

KINETIX R246 cures at room temperature, or low elevated temperature, and is suitable for fibre composite boat construction. The low viscosity of this system is an aid in both hand lamination, or machine impregnation, operations. The relatively low activity of R246 offers extended working times which is a benefit for large laminating projects

KINETIX R240 used with hardener H341 has a unique curing chemistry and wet-pregs formed with this system can be cured at relatively low temperature ( 50 – 60°C) without the risk of inadequate flow and poor interlayer fusion which is inherent in the use of dry and hot melt pre-pregs cured at these temperatures. It has high elastic modulus and impact toughness, and is much less brittle than the resins used in general purpose, pre-made, pre-pregs.

KINETIX R240 offers a variety in pot-life and working times, in a room temperature laminating system. Designed to produce stronger, stiffer and tougher laminates than conventional general purpose epoxies, R240 produces excellent mechnical properties in carbon fibre, aramid and E-fibreglass laminates.
